Approach
The cottage is approached by a good road. The nearest bus stop is a mile away
down a steep road.
Entrance
Car parking right outside the front door on a slate chipping driveway. There is
a 11 cm step up to the front door (79 cm wide).
Internal Circulation
Downstairs doorways are 72 -79 cm wide. The sitting room is partially carpeted
and the hallway, kitchen and shower room/toilet have a rough slate tiled
flooring .
Toilets/Shower
There is a downstairs toilet, basin and shower with door and shower screen 72cm
wide
Stairs
There are 12 stairs with 19 cm risers and varying width treads with a partial
handrail. Upstaris has laminate flooring
Seating
Most seating is moveable
Controls
Most switches and power points are between 900 and 1200cm from floor There is a
high level combination oven. Remote controls for TV, DVD and Music system
Bedding
Quilts and pillows are non-feather
Fire
There are heat and smoke detectors with audible alarms
Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome
Telephones/ broadband
There is reception for all mobile phone networks in the property although the
thick stone walls make it variable throughout the property. There is a socket
for broadband access.
Gardens
The gardens are multi-level with uneven stone steps
